Meet The Doctor
Dr. Richard M. Hilker was born and raised in Fort Wayne. He graduated from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois and received his Doctor of Podiatric degree from Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois in 1982. He received post-graduate training in South Bend, Indiana and started his private practice in Fort Wayne in 1985.
Dr. Richard M. Hilker is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by The American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Foot Surgeons. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and has served as a North Trustee of the Indiana Podiatric Medical Association.
He is a member of the American Diabetes Association and the Fort Wayne Track Club. He has attended Post graduate training programs at the University of Texas Health and Science Center at San Antonio, Texas, the Texas Diabetic Institue and the Podiatry Institute in Decatur, Georgia. He is on staff at all Fort Wayne area hospitals.
